About

As outdoor enthusiasts, keen producers and brewers in Rutland, we have long wondered why there was very little Cider produced in our glorious county. After much research into cider making and producing, we came up with a great blend of cider and dessert apples to craft into our medium ‘Rutland Cider’.

Using a blend of apples grown in Rutland, but mainly apples from the finest ancient and commercial orchards from one farm in Herefordshire, we are able to pick from varieties including Dabinett, Michelin, Harry Masters, Three Counties and Yarlington Mill.

We decided to add a small but perfectly crafted range of fruit ciders into our portfolio. Tired of drinking thick, gloopy fruit based ciders, we wanted the natural flavours of Britain to shine through wherever possible. So we turned to the hedgerows and gardens for our inspiration, blending Rhubarb and English Strawberries from our own garden along with Blackberries and English Raspberries into our medium cider for great, natural flavours of England. Mango was just a bit of fun, but it turned out really well!
